Star Party at Stratford Hall October 8 – CANCELLED

Owing to the predicted effects of Hurricane Matthew, the Stratord Hall Star Party is CANCELLED. There will be Stratford Hall star party on May 6-7, 2017.

Come join RAClub at Stratford Hall for a twilight and nighttime star gazing opportunity on the Oval at Stratford Hall. Beginning at about 6:00 p.m. on the Oval in front of the Great House, we will offer informal discussion on telescopes and the basics of astronomy. Observations, and as darkness descends, star and planet gazing will follow. For directions and more details, go here.


Sky Party at Pratt Park September 10 – Join Us!

Sept 10–Join RAClub at Pratt Park TONIGHT to explore the night sky with telescopes, binoculars, and the naked eye. The Moon, Venus, Mars, and Saturn should be visible. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. As always, the event is weather permitting.
